  • A Day in the Life at a Children’s Support Center in Afghanistan

    Samina computer class edited

    Watch Samina’s full video here.

“My name is Samina, and I am ten years old. Every morning when I wake up, I feel happy that a new day has begun.

First, I wash my face and hands to feel clean and ready for the day.

After that, I pray and ask for a wonderful day ahead.

We exercise every morning. When we do, I feel strong and happy.

We learn English here. In the future, I want to study law and become a lawyer to defend the rights of Afghan girls.

Computers are so interesting to me! I’m learning how to use them and how to create new things.

Sometimes, if I feel sad, I can share my feelings in this class. Here, I have learned that I am important.

I love reading books. When I read, my hope for the future grows even stronger.

I study much better when I have a full stomach.

When I’m sick, I see a doctor. This place (CSC) looks after our health.

Sometimes I get to call my family. When I hear their voices, my heart feels at peace.

We play and laugh together, and I truly love to laugh.

After playing, we have cake and biscuits. That’s when we have the best time!

I do my duties because I want to be a good student.

I read a book before going to sleep.

Your support is more than just a donation. It’s a whole day of safety, education, health, and hope. Your help builds the future for us children.”

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we are recognizing that healing begins with safety, compassion, and human connection.

Donate today to support Afghan women and children.
