Women for Afghan Women (WAW) is interested in hiring a detail-oriented, well-spoken, and energetic Communications Coordinator who can support WAW’s communications, program, and development teams to raise funds; promote and showcase our positive impact, accomplishments and successes; and to raise the organization’s visibility and expand our networks of support by managing the organization’s online, press, and other communications-related presence. Remotely supervised by the Communications Manager based, in-person, at our New York Community Center (NYCC), the Communications Coordinator will be based at our Virginia Community Center (VACC) to ensure all our US-based programs’ growing communications needs are covered.
