Donating Crypto to WAW
WAW can now accept donations in cryptocurrency through Endaoment and The Giving Block. Both options automatically convert your crypto donations to cash before it is transferred to WAW. Please see a list of cryptocurrencies accepted by each platform below.

Donate with Endaoment
Endaoment is a new Community Foundation and public charity offering Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) built atop the Ethereum blockchain, allowing folks to donate to almost any US nonprofit organization using cryptocurrency.
How to Donate:
Connect an Ethereum wallet to the Endaoment app, then visit Women for Afghan Women’s Endaoment profile. From here, you can either donate directly, or recommend a grant to us from a previously created Endaoment Donor-Advised Fund, with ETH or any ERC-20 compatible token. You may also contact the Endaoment team to make an “over-the-counter” gift of any other digital asset.
*Endaoment does not provide tax advice. Please consult with a licensed tax professional to further understand the impact of opening and contributing to a Donor-Advised Fund

Donate with The Giving Block
You can now support WAW’s mission of #AfghanWomenStrong by making a charitable gift in cryptocurrency. We accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, and over 70 leading cryptocurrencies.

Your cryptocurrency donations are tax-deductible. When you donate crypto to a registered charity, you do not recognize capital gains from the donation and can deduct it on your taxes.
